VHS Cam — Support
VHS Cam turns your iPhone or iPad into a 90s camcorder: VHS, Mini DV, Hi8, CCD, Y2K and Super 8 looks, with a date stamp you can set to any day and time. Questions or problems? Email us at support@appholdings.org and include your iOS version and what happened.
I paid but VHS Cam still shows the watermark or the paywall
Open the app, tap SETTINGS, then RESTORE PURCHASES (it is also on the PRO screen). Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy. Subscriptions, the lifetime unlock and the one-time unlocks sold in earlier versions all count.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to iOS Settings › your name › Subscriptions › VHS Cam and tap Cancel Subscription. To avoid being charged after a free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Apple handles billing and refunds; you can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
My video or photo didn't save
VHS Cam saves to your photo library as soon as a clip or photo is ready. If it couldn't, allow it in iOS Settings › VHS Cam › Photos (Add Photos Only is enough), then tap Save again.
Why can't I add an Apple Music song?
Songs from Apple Music and iCloud are protected, so iOS doesn't let apps add them to videos. Pick a song you own that is downloaded to your device.
How do I change the date on the camcorder?
Tap SETTINGS, then the DATE button, and set any date and time. The camcorder clock keeps running from there, like a real camera.
