Ohio Cop for iOS — Support
This page supports the iOS app Ohio Cop, Apple ID 379418730, bundle ID com.qbiki.OhioLEO.
What the app includes
Ohio Cop is an offline directory of nine current Ohio public-safety contacts: five Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation offices and selected Columbus, Cleveland, and Cincinnati police contacts. It is deliberately limited and is not a complete Ohio agency directory: counties, most municipalities, facilities, prosecutors, coroners, and other agencies are not included.
Each record includes its official source and verification date. Contact details can change after verification, so confirm important information with the agency.
Using Ohio Cop
- Browse or search the bundled directory without an account. Search runs on your iPhone, without a network connection.
- Open a record to copy a value or view its source and verification date.
- Phone, Mail, Apple Maps, and Safari open only after you select and confirm an available action. Fax numbers can be viewed and copied only.
- Availability of an external action depends on the apps and services configured on your device.
Access and the Ohio Cop Weekly subscription
- If you bought Ohio Cop, you keep full access without subscribing. The same applies if your organization obtained Ohio Cop through Apple’s volume purchasing (Apple School Manager or Apple Business Manager).
- Once Ohio Cop is free to download, people who download it after that need an Ohio Cop Weekly subscription for full access: $4.99 per week in the U.S. (other storefronts show the local price), renewing automatically every week until you cancel. There is no free trial.
- Once the App Store has confirmed your access, the directory also works without a network connection.
Restore purchases
- If you bought Ohio Cop and the app shows the subscription screen on a device where you bought it, tap Restore Purchases on that screen.
- If you subscribed and the app shows the subscription screen (for example, on a new iPhone or after reinstalling), tap Restore Purchases on that screen.
- Restore uses the Apple Account signed in to the App Store on the device (Settings > your name > Media & Purchases). Use the Apple Account you bought or subscribed with.
Manage or cancel your subscription
- In the app, subscribers can open the Subscription tab and tap Manage Subscription.
- Or open Settings > your name > Subscriptions on your iPhone and choose Ohio Cop Weekly.
- Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.
- If you bought Ohio Cop and also subscribed, you can cancel the subscription without losing access.
Troubleshooting
- If an external action does not open, confirm that the corresponding iOS app or service is available and configured.
- If text is too small or large, adjust Text Size in iOS Settings; the app supports Dynamic Type.
- If a contact appears outdated, use the official-source link on the record and include the record name when reporting it.
