Typorama — Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 16, 2026
This policy applies to the iPhone, iPad and Mac app Typorama (App Store ID 978659937, bundle ID com.apperto.typorama), published by App Business Ventures LLC under the App Holdings name (“we”, “us”).
In short:
- Your photos, text and designs are created and stored on your device. We never receive them.
- Since version 2.6, Typorama has no ads, no analytics and no tracking SDKs.
- Purchases are handled by Apple. We don’t receive your name, Apple Account or payment details.
- Typorama has no accounts. We don’t sell your personal information.
Photos and your designs
Typorama asks for access to your photo library so you can pick a photo as a background and save your finished designs. Photos you pick, the text you type, your logo/watermark and your saved projects are processed and stored only on your device. When you share a design, it goes only to the app or person you choose in the iOS share sheet.
Backgrounds and photo search
To show the built-in background collection, the app downloads a list of backgrounds from our Firebase Realtime Database (operated by Google) and the images from our server at typorama.appholdings.org. If you search for stock photos, your search words are sent to Unsplash or Pixabay, which return matching photos. Like any website, these services receive your device’s IP address and basic request information when the app connects to them, under their own privacy policies (Firebase, Unsplash, Pixabay). We don’t link these requests to you.
Typorama PRO
Typorama PRO is optional. It is offered as a monthly or yearly subscription that renews automatically until you cancel it (new subscribers may get a free trial), or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Apple processes all payments; we don’t receive your name, Apple Account or payment details. The app checks your PRO status with Apple through StoreKit on your device, and keeps a record of past one-time purchases in your device’s keychain so they keep working. Apple sends us notices about subscription events (such as a renewal, a cancellation or a refund) with a transaction number, the product, dates, price and country, but no name, email or payment details; we receive them through our subscription service provider, Qonversion, and use them only to understand subscription sales. You can manage or cancel a subscription in Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Apple’s handling of purchases is covered by the Apple Privacy Policy.
Support email
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write or attach, and use them only to answer you. Support messages are kept in our help desk.
Earlier versions
Versions of Typorama before 2.6 included third-party analytics, crash reporting, push notification and social sharing SDKs, which could collect device identifiers and usage data under their own privacy policies. Version 2.6 removed all of them. Updating the app stops that data collection.
Children
Typorama is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
You can change the photo library permission at any time in iOS Settings › Typorama. Deleting the app removes its projects and settings from your device. Designs you saved stay in your photo library until you delete them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above and, for material changes, tell you in the app.
