Find My Lost Device for iOS — Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 13, 2026

This policy applies to the iOS app Find My Lost Device - Tracker (shown on the Home Screen as Device Finder), App Store ID 1495741347, bundle ID com.andychung.DeviceFinder, published by WL Online Marketing LLC (“we”, “us”).

In short:

Bluetooth

The app asks for Bluetooth access so it can scan for nearby devices that broadcast a Bluetooth signal, such as headphones, earbuds, watches, phones and tablets. It reads the name each device broadcasts and the strength of its signal to show how close you are. This happens on your device. The list of devices and their signal readings are not uploaded to us or to anyone else.

Location and the map

If you allow location access while using the app, it records your phone’s location at the moment a saved device was last detected, so you can see on the map where that device was last seen. These locations are stored only in the app’s storage on your device, and you can delete a saved device at any time. The map is provided by Apple Maps (MapKit); Apple receives the map requests needed to display it, under the Apple Privacy Policy. If you use Share Location, iOS hands the location to the app or person you choose.

Analytics, crash reports and settings

The app uses Google Firebase: Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used (for example which screens are opened and whether the subscription screen was shown), Firebase Crashlytics to receive crash reports, and Firebase Remote Config to adjust settings such as which subscription screen is shown. These services receive device and usage information such as device model, iOS version, app version, an app instance identifier, approximate location derived from the IP address, and crash logs. They do not receive your Bluetooth device list or your saved locations. Google processes this data under the Firebase privacy information and the Google Privacy Policy.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the app registers with Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging so we can send occasional notifications. This uses a push token for your device. You can turn notifications off at any time in Settings > Notifications.

Subscriptions

The app offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions that unlock the detailed radar and map features and remove ads. Apple processes every purchase; we don’t receive your name, Apple Account or payment details. We use RevenueCat to check and manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives purchase and receipt information from Apple and an anonymous app user ID, under the RevenueCat Privacy Policy. You can manage or cancel a subscription in Settings > your name > Subscriptions. Subscriptions are governed by the Apple Standard End User License Agreement.

Advertising, attribution and tracking

We advertise the app on Apple Search Ads. To measure those campaigns, the app uses Apple’s AdServices framework to get an attribution token, which is processed by our attribution provider (ASATools) to tell us which campaign led to a download. The app includes the Google Mobile Ads SDK and may show ads to people without a subscription.

The app asks for permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency. If you allow tracking, your device’s advertising identifier may be shared with Google and our attribution provider to measure campaigns and, where ads are shown, to personalize them. If you decline, the advertising identifier is not shared. You can change this at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

Feedback email

If you choose to contact us from the app, it opens your mail app with a message to our support address. Nothing is sent until you send the email yourself. We use what you send only to answer you and to fix problems.

Children

The app is a general-audience utility. It is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Retention and security

Data stored on your device stays there until you delete it or uninstall the app. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to help you. Google, RevenueCat and our attribution provider keep the data they receive according to their own policies.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, or to object to its use. Apart from emails you send us, we don’t hold personal data about users of the app. You can turn off Bluetooth, location, notification and tracking permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app, and deleting the app removes the data it stored on your device. You can also contact us at any time.

Changes

If a future version changes these practices, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy details before that version is released.
