Baby Games for One Year Olds: Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 11, 2026
This policy explains what information the iOS app Baby Games for One Year Olds (the "app") collects, how we use it, and the choices parents have. The app is published on the App Store by BrainVault Games, LLC ("we", "us"). The app is made for young children, and children can play every game without giving us any personal information.
The short version
- The app shows no ads and contains no advertising SDKs.
- We don't ask children for, and don't knowingly collect, a child's name, age, contact details, photos or precise location.
- The app doesn't ask for permission to track and doesn't track anyone across other companies' apps or websites. It doesn't include Apple's advertising identifier framework.
- We never sell or rent information.
- Purchases, links that leave the app and parent settings sit behind a parental gate that a young child can't pass.
- The app collects some technical and usage information automatically, as described below, to keep it working, fix crashes and understand how the app and its optional subscription are used.
Information collected automatically
- Our own app analytics (ACAnalytics). When the app starts and while the parent onboarding screens are shown, the app sends our servers an identifier for vendor (a random ID Apple gives our apps on that device), a random install ID created by the app, the device model, iOS version, app version, language, country or region and currency, the Apple Search Ads attribution token (which tells us whether the app was installed from an Apple Search Ads campaign), and which onboarding screens were viewed. When a parent buys or restores a subscription, the app also sends the App Store receipt so we can confirm the purchase. Our servers record the IP address of each request and may use it to estimate an approximate, city- or region-level location.
- Google Firebase. The app uses Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config, A/B Testing, Installations and Sessions. These collect app usage events, in-app purchase events, crash reports and other diagnostic data, an app instance ID and installation ID, device and iOS information, and an approximate location derived from the IP address. We use this to understand how the app is used, fix crashes and adjust app settings. Google processes this data on our behalf; see Privacy and Security in Firebase.
- Purchases. Subscriptions are bought through Apple, and we never receive payment card details. We receive the App Store receipt, which shows the purchase and subscription status, so we can unlock Baby Games Premium.
Information a parent chooses to give us
- Customer support. If a parent contacts us through the in-app support chat (Freshchat), we receive the messages and any photos or files the parent decides to attach, along with basic device and app information that helps us answer. The app asks for camera or photo library access only when a parent chooses to attach a picture to a support conversation.
- Notifications. If you allow notifications, Apple gives the app a push token, which is used to deliver notifications such as replies to support messages. You can turn notifications off at any time in iOS Settings.
How we use information
We use the information above to run and improve the app, keep it stable, see which parts of the app and the onboarding are used, understand how people find the app, confirm subscriptions, and answer support requests. We don't use it to build profiles of children, to show advertising, or for anything unrelated to the app.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that process it for us: Google (Firebase), Freshchat (customer support), the hosting providers that run our servers, and Apple (purchases, Apple Search Ads attribution and notifications). We don't sell information and don't share it with advertisers or data brokers. We may disclose information when the law requires it.
Retention
We keep analytics and purchase records only as long as we need them for the purposes above, and support conversations only as long as we need them to help you. Crash reports are kept for the period set by Firebase Crashlytics.
Parents' choices
A parent can ask us to review or delete the information linked to their device, or to stop further collection, by emailing support@appholdings.org. Deleting the app from the device stops all further collection by the app.
Security
The app sends this information over encrypted connections where the service supports them, and only people who need it to run the app can access it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and its effective date.
