This policy explains how App Holdings processes information when a Wix site owner installs or uses Before And After Slider.
We use this information to render and publish sliders, recognize plan access, provide support, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, secure the service, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal information or use slider data for advertising.
When you install the app, we send up to three short emails to the site owner's email address: setup help within an hour of installation, a few tips about three days later, and, only if the site is still on the free plan, information about the Premium plan about a week after installation. Before each email we check that the app is still installed and that you haven't unsubscribed, and no one receives the series twice. The emails come from App Holdings, the maker of the app, not from Wix.
Every email has an unsubscribe link, and email programs that support one-click unsubscribe can use that too. You can also reply to any of the emails or write to feedback@appholdings.org. Uninstalling the app stops the emails.
Wix supplies the site, media, app-instance, and billing platform. We use hosting and infrastructure providers, Microsoft Azure Storage for legacy media compatibility, and SendGrid for support-message delivery. The emails to new users are handled by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in its US West (Oregon) region: AWS receives Wix's installation notifications for us, stores the related records, and delivers the emails through Amazon Simple Email Service. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Wix processes app subscriptions and payments. App Holdings does not receive full payment-card details.
We keep slider configuration while needed to operate the installed app and retain backups, security logs, and support records only as reasonably needed for recovery, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, legal obligations, and support history. A site owner may request deletion of app-managed data, subject to backup and legal retention requirements.
For the emails to new users, we do not keep a copy of your email address. We store the app-instance identifier, the installation time, the plan, and a log of which emails were sent and when; these records are deleted automatically 180 days after installation. We also keep a one-way keyed hash of the address, with your unsubscribe choice, for as long as we send these emails, so that we can honor unsubscribes and never send the series twice. If an email bounces or is marked as spam, Amazon Simple Email Service may keep the address on its suppression list so that no further email is sent to it.
We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect app data. The records for the emails to new users are encrypted in transit and at rest. Information may be processed in countries where App Holdings or its service providers operate, including the United States.
You can change or remove slider content in Wix and uninstall the app through Wix. For access, correction, deletion, or privacy questions, contact feedback@appholdings.org or use App Holdings Support. We may need to verify the relevant Wix site or app instance.
The app is a website-design tool and is not directed to children under 13.
We may update this policy as the app or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the latest revision.
